Ebang E10

Ebang announced at the end of 2017 that they’d be releasing the Ebang E10 and Ebang E10+ (10.1) units in 2018 but to our knowledge they have yet to hit the shelves. The E10 was announced to have a hash rate of 16 TH/s for 1440W at a cost of $4400 USD. The Ebang E10+, or E10.1 miner, offered 18 TH/s at 1620W for a cost of $5000 USD.

The Miners’ Union has never seen an Ebang miner, so it is unlikely that these miners will hit the market in time to be profitable. There are several new miners slated to come out later this year which will be significantly more efficient.

At  1440W, the Ebang E10 or subsequent E10.1 at 1620W, are ideal choices for colocation. These units perform optimally when using 208, 220 or 240V power sources which are often difficult or impossible to find at residential locations. These miners produce a lot of heat so it is best run in a location with a managed climate.
