The Innosilicon A9 was released in June of 2018 and began delivery in August 2018. These units offer 50 KSol/S of hash rate for 620W of power making them the most profitable Zcash miners on the market.

Bitmain plans on releasing their own Equihash miners – the Antminer Z9 and Z9 minis – but until then these are the way to go if you want to mine Zcash. The Miners’ Union contributes a large part of the Zcash hash rate.

At 620W, the Innosilicon A9 is an ideal choice for colocation. This unit performs optimally when using 208, 220 or 240V power sources which are often difficult or impossible to find at residential locations. The miner produces a lot of heat so it is best run in a location with a managed climate.
